PASSIVE VOICE
Passive Voice (passive voice) are used to express the WHAT HAPPENS ON THE SUBJECT
(actor). In example b. Novel adalahsubject who received action 'is read' (read)
Passive Voice (passive voice) subject (actor) imposed work.
A. What is Passive Voice
From the above, we can draw a real understanding of the passive voice. Passive voice is a grammatical writing in English that manasubject (actors) of the sentence imposed job. Passive voice does not only exist in English only, in the Indonesian Passive Sentences we know with a very simple change that particle in-/ ter-. Suppose Rini read a novel (active voice) novel read by Rini (passive voice).
B. Patterns of Passive Voice
The change active voice to passive voice is not as easy as change the active sentences into passive sentences in Indonesian.
pattern:

S+Be+Verb-3+By Agent

Note:
S: Subject
Be: Tobe
Verb-3: The third form Verb
By Agent: Actors
Example:
Rini    reads    Novel. (Active Voice)
 [S]    [V1]   [Object]
Novel      is          read      by Rini. (Passive Voice)
[S]    [to be]     [V3]    [by agent]

In making the sentence passive voice, we will not escape with the name tenses. because the determination of 'to be' in the passive voice sentence depends on the active sentence tenses.
There are several common forms are often used in forming the passive voice. The difference is explained by the time course of events, has happened, is happening or will happen. Some of them are commonly used are as follows:
Number
structure
Purpose ...
1
S + is/am/are/was/were + V3
In [...]
2
S + is/am/are/was/were + being + V3
moderate   [...]
3
S + has/have/had + been + V3
has been in  [...]
4
S + will/shall/can/may/must, etc + V3
will / can / may / must have been in   [...]

The most important thing to remember before we try to make the passive voice and other expressions sentence (in english) is the use to be on the subject.
I (am/was, have/had) / khusus
He, she, it ( is/was, has/had) /tunggal
They, we, you (are/were, have/had) / jamak
